GTKY: Trista!!!

Everybody!!! Meet our newest GM, Trista. We want to shout this from the rooftops because she epitomizes all that is Fly Feet from the way she pushes herself in the studio to the way she shares her gifts and talents with others. We are incredibly honored to have her on our team. She walked in during our very first opening week and has been a staple member of our community ever since. Her refreshing outlook on life, her drive for excellence, and her charisma are all pure gold. Please give a warm welcome when you see her in the studio and read on to get to know her a little bit better :)

  1. You are one of the very first founding members in the history of ever :) Tell us about your first experience at Fly Feet Running. What got you hooked?

    The first time I walked in the front door downtown, I was greeted with a huge smile, a high-five, and quick rundown of the workout to come.  The music was pumping, energy was high, and I was immediately excited instead of nervous to workout!  What got me instantly hooked was the quality of the coaches, staff and the programming.  (Not to mention the workout pushed me out of my comfort zone:) )    

  2. Before coming to Fly Feet what did your workout regimen consist of?

    Running on my own outside, treadmill intervals (which I have now learned how to do them effectively!), and other HIIT type workouts.  (Insanity videos anyone?  Shaun T’s got nothin’ on the FFR coaches!)

  3. Why is health and fitness so important to you?

    Sometimes it feels we have very little control over certain things in life.  When you make fitness and wellness one of your priorities, it makes other aspects of life much easier to navigate.  Quality of life is in your control, you just have to be willing to put your own well being first once in a while ;)

  4. You love Fly Feet, Fly Feet loves you, and now you’re HIRED!!! What are you most excited about as you take on the role of Downtown GM?

    Awww! So much love!  Yes, I am extremely excited to be part of the DT crew!  I am most excited to get to know more flyers better, and help spread the word about this amazing community of people to the world!  We have something very special here, and I believe the world needs more of it.  

  5. If you could implement one rule at Fly Feet what would it be? (No rules apply to this question ;))

    Nobody is allowed compare themselves to others/shame themselves!

  6. If you could host a Fly Feet workout anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

    Gold Coast in Australia.  Pre or Post workout, we could all take a dip in the ocean, grab a surf board (if we still have energy), and hang out in one of the most beautiful places in the world, IMO.  FFR Australia?!  I think so. 

  7. What are three things you couldn’t live without?

    1.  My hubby & Pica Deloris (my dog). Basically all of my family and friends- they always come first!

    2.  Caffeine 

    3.  Sunshine & warm weather

  8. If you could have one tagline/motto/saying to represent your life what would it be?

    Here’s to the crazy one’s. The misfits, rebels, troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius because the ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones that do.
